Dear Valued Customers and Partners,

Thank you for your continued trust in XTRONS.

We would like to share frankly the serious challenges our industry is facing—and the stance we have never wavered from.

I. Rising Component Costs

Since the beginning of this year, persistent supply-demand imbalances in the global semiconductor market have driven DDR/Flash memory prices steadily upward. PCB substrates and passive components have also become significantly more expensive. These objective factors have increased production costs across the entire industry.

II. Market Disorder

Under cost pressure, some players have resorted to the following tactics:

  • Fake capacity labeling: Forcing a 1GB/2GB chip to display as 4GB/8GB via software modification. The system shows inflated numbers, but actual usable performance is far lower.
  • Used/recycled components: Massive use of second- or third-hand EMC chips and DRAM modules, merely cleaned and re-balled with no guarantee of lifespan or stability.
  • Dumping and unfair competition: Pricing far below legitimate cost levels to distort the market, misleading consumers into comparing only "displayed capacity" while ignoring real performance and reliability.

These practices harm end-users and severely squeeze the fair-competition space that honest brands depend on.

III. XTRONS' Commitment

In the face of this chaos, we choose a harder but correct path:

  • Genuine, full-capacity materials: Every XTRONS product uses new, original memory chips produced under strict process controls.
  • Transparent, conservative labeling: The number shown on a unit's system boot screen reflects the raw chip capacity. The figure we state in all our marketing materials, packaging, and specification sheets reflects the real-world usable capacity after system reservation and calibration—which is why the two numbers can differ. Where there is any doubt, we always publish the more conservative, lower figure rather than the higher one. This is a deliberate choice to under-state rather than over-state, so as to eliminate any misleading impression.
  • Rigorous inspection: We maintain our long-standing high standards for incoming material inspection and outgoing burn-in tests, ensuring every unit meets its expected electrical performance and service life.

IV. Pricing and Your Decision

We are doing our utmost to absorb part of the cost increase through supply-chain optimization and production efficiency improvements. However, we cannot fully offset all rises. Final selling prices may see some adjustment, but we will keep any increase within a reasonable range.

When making procurement decisions, we encourage you to look beyond the "displayed number" and the "price tag," and to ask:

  • Is the memory brand-new original, or recycled/refurbished?
  • Can the claimed capacity withstand real-world read/write and long-term stress tests?
  • Is after-sales support and failure risk equivalent across different offers?

We respect every customer's choice. If short-term price is your top priority, we understand. But if you are willing to pay a reasonable cost for authentic, reliable, and traceable quality, XTRONS will always be your trustworthy partner.

We believe the market will eventually return to rationality—and truth will always be recognized.

Should you have any questions or require further technical validation, please do not hesitate to contact your dedicated account manager.

Yours sincerely,

XTRONS Team
